Materials Used in Railway Machining

The railway components machined by Dinoxsa are primarily produced using materials known for their mechanical strength and corrosion resistance:

  • Stainless steels A2, A4, AISI 304L, AISI 316L
  • Zinc-plated steel (Class 8.8 or equivalent)
  • High-strength copper alloys (e.g., CW713R, CW614N)
  • 42CrMo4

We can also machine any material required by your specifications.

Finishes for Railway Components

We offer a wide range of finishes to meet both functional and aesthetic requirements:

  • Mirror polishing: flawless appearance, ideal for high-end components (manual up to 1,000 parts; automated beyond).
  • Bright polishing: a more economical option offering a quality visual finish.
  • Vibratory finishing: ensures a uniform appearance for series production.
  • Microblasting / Brushed satin finish: technical or decorative surface treatments.
  • For cold-formed parts, we favor machining with precise aesthetic guidelines when visual appearance is a key requirement.
